Popular in concert and recital, highlights have included performing for HM King Charles III (formerly HRH Prince of Wales) on a number of occasions including at Buckingham Palace, performing for the Commemoration of the Somme with the Hallé Orchestra conducted by
Sir Mark Elder, televised and streamed performances from Moscow across Russsia as part of the UK-Russia Year of Music 2019,
Vaughan Williams’ Serenade to Music at Birmingham Symphony Hall with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra which was broadcast live on BBC Radio 3 with further personal appearences and performances on; BBC Radio 3’s In Tune, BBC Radio Wales, BBC Radio Cymru, and S4C television.

Other performances have taken in Lincoln Cathedral, St Alban’s Cathedral, St David’s Cathedral, Handel’s Messiah at the Wales Millennium Centre, recitals at St Martin in the Fields London, spending the summer in 2018 performing the roles of Figaro Le Nozze di Figaro and Bonzo Madame Butterfly with the Mediterranean Opera Festival Studio in Sicily, and the special invitation from Sir Bryn Terfel to perform Non Più Andrai in a televised celebration of his career, Bywyd Trwy Gân [Life Through Song] for S4C.

Passionate and bilingual, he is always eager to perform for charitable causes and organisations including Shelter Cymru, NHS Cymru, and also aiding the raising of funds for a new Welsh Centre for the Dinas Powys Music Festival, and the Bristol Welsh Society.

Relatively late to singing, he gained a wealth of acting experience winning the award for Best Actor at the 2013 Ffresh Film Awards. It was as part of a new youth project Only Boys Aloud where Emyr met Tim Rhys - Evans MBE, who nurtured and guided him (with a lot of patience!) to a very quick transition to studying for a degree in Vocal Studies. Emyr continues to be very grateful and connected with the Aloud charity, and is proud to be a Valleys Boy, and ambassador for the organisation.
